Tender Details

Prior Information Notice for Building Sustainable Anti-Corruption Action in Tanzania (BSAAT) Integrity and Ethics in the Private Sector.

Building Sustainable Anti-Corruption Action in Tanzania (BSAAT) Integrity and Ethics in the Private Sector. This is a Prior Information Notice (PIN) and notification of an Early Market Engagement (EME) EVENT. BSAAT is DFID Tanzania-s primary anti-corruption programme. It supports the Government of Tanzania and is closely aligned with NACSAP III (National Anti-Corruption Strategy Action Plan). Learning from previous and ongoing DFID anti-corruption programming, BSAAT aims to address both technical aspects of corruption as well as political incentives. It considers both demand-side (i.e. public sector) and supply-side (i.e. private sector) drivers of corruption and is a complement to sector-specific anti-corruption work such as that being conducted in Tanzania through the Anti-Corruption Evidence (ACE) programme. BSAAT is looking to mobilise for its private sector component. This component will make corruption less of a barrier to growth and poverty reduction in Tanzania by promoting integrity and ethics in the private sector. There will be an early market engagement event for this component held in March 2018 in London, UK and Dar Es Salaam, Tanzania. Registration on this portal is to receive all communications and updates on this opportunity. To register to attend the event and to receive all information regarding times and locations of the EME, please ensure to access these details within the additional information provided for 8199 on the DFID Supplier portal. Note, there are two elements of registration which must not be confused with each other: 1. Suppliers must register their interest to 8199 on the DFID Supplier Portal to ensure they receive all communication and updates (this is not registration to attend the event). 2. Within the profile of 8199 on the portal, there are dialogues/clarifications and attachments/additional documents the supplier must refer to, which contain the link to register to attend the EME event. Deadline to register attendance for the EME is 2nd March 2018 - 12:00 (BST) 15:00 (EAT). This is a PIN. No tender documents are available at this stage.
