Invitation for Bids (IFB) Set-Aside for Small Businesses
NAICS Code: 238220 - Plumbing, Heating, and Air Conditioning Contractors
The New Mexico National Guard intends to issue an Invitation for Bids to award a single firm fixed-price contract for services, non-personal, to provide all plant, labor, transportation, materials, tools, equipment, appliances and supervision necessary for the removal of two existing AJAX boilers and associated equipment at Building 1047, Kirtland Air Force Base (KAFB), New Mexico. The contractor shall provide and install new, high-efficiency Lochinvar (Brand Name) boilers and all necessary components to return the system to full operational status.
The contract duration will be 180 calendar days after notice to proceed to include inspection and punch list. This project is set aside 100% for Total Small Businesses. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 238220, with a small business size standard of $19, 000, 000. Per RFO FAR 36.101-3(b) the budget parameters for this project is between $250, 000 and $350, 000.
The tentative date for issuing the solicitation is on-or-about June 1, 2026.
The bid opening date is tentatively planned for on-or-about June 30, 2026, at 11:00 AM MST. Actual dates and times will be identified in the solicitation.
