Subject:-Triennial Term Contract for Electrical Works in Change of Tenancy in Government Quarters in the Hong Kong Island, Kowloon & New Territories

Description:-The scope of the works includes inspection, repair, maintenance, supply and installation, testing, carrying out refurbishment, alteration and improvement, other electrical works as well as other associated builder's works for the change of tenancy in various Government Quarters. The Contract is scheduled to commence in December 2018 for expiry in December 2021

Contractors Invited to Tender:-Selective tendering is adopted. Confirmed contractors on the List of Approved Suppliers of Materials and Specialist Contractors for Public Works under the category of "Electrical Installation (Group III)" who also meet the qualifications and conditions for participation stipulated in the tender documents are invited to tender.

Contractors will be liable to have their names removed from the approved list if they fail or refuse to implement an accepted tender.


Remarks:-(i) This tender is not covered by the Agreement on Government Procurement of the World Trade Organization.
(ii) A charge will be levied for delivery of tender documents where the delivery of tender documents is requested by a tenderer. A written request must be made.
(iii) The Government of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region does not bind itself to accept any tender irrespective of whether the tender is the lowest bid or, where the assessment of the tenders is based on a marking scheme or formula approach, the tender has the highest overall mark.
(iv) The Government of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region reserves the right to negotiate with any tenderer about the terms of the offer.
(v) Details of the award of this contract will be published on the Internet.
