WS2966279720 - 1 The project concerns the basement, the ground floor and the technical room (also called the plenum) of the Brussels South train station. The project mainly includes the following work: - Replacement of parts of the suspended ceiling and the acoustic insulation. Target areas: main corridor (wooden slats), exits on the Horta gallery side, the so-called "international" area under platforms 3 to 6, and the southern area on the "Air France" side (see map on the next slide) - Renewal of lighting and wiring according to the zones, installation of emergency lighting in the technical room and adjustments in the basement - Fire-resistant treatment of the underside of the wooden floor - reinforcement of the suspension brackets - Installation of a general sprinkler system (basement, ground floor and technical floor) in line with the work currently being carried out in the station - Replacement of carpentry that currently does not meet the fire resistance requirements (EI) - Construction of new compartment walls and lift portals - Correction of existing non-compliant compartments (sealing, closing openings, installation of fire-resistant seals, installation of fire-resistant valves) - Additional work to improve the fire resistance certification (EI) of compartment walls in the catering area - Adjustment of signaling (evacuation) in the basement and in the technical room plenum The project concerns the basement...
