This Invitation to Tender (the “ITT”) is an invitation by the City of St. John-s (the “City”) to prospective bidders to submit bids for Brookfield Road Water Transmission Main Replacement, as further described in Section A of the ITT Particulars (Appendix D) (the “Deliverables”).
The scope of work generally includes the supply and install new 400 meters of 750 mm diameter DR 25 (pressure class 165 psi) polyvinyl chloride (PVC) pipe water transmission main to relocate a section of the existing 750mm diameter pre-stressed concrete cylinder pipe (PCCP) transmission main, as outlined by contract drawings and specifications. The relocation is needed to avoid an area of roadway embankment construction over the existing water transmission main created by construction of Team Gushue Highway Extension in the vicinity of Brookfield Road.
