Bromley Banking Service
The Council is seeking tenders from suitably qualified suppliers to undertake its banking services which will include:
1. maintenance of Council bank accounts, including maintained schools
2. receipt of payments to the Council through a number of sources including cash, cheque, direct debit, standing order and credit/debit cards
3. clearance of payments by the Council to staff, pensioners and suppliers through a variety of processing methods including cheque, CHAPS, BACS and direct debit
4. an electronic banking system which provides on-line access to bank statements, balances and transactions as well as the facility to make electronic payments (CHAPS and BACS)
Tenders are being sought for banking services for a seven year contract with the option for a two year extension, to commence in April 2024.
