PLEASE READ THIS NOTICE CAREFULLY AS IT CONSTITUTES THE ONLY NOTICE THAT WILL BE PUBLISHED.
The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) intends to negotiate a sole source, Firm Fixed Price (FFP) contract with Carey's Heating and Air Conditioning, Inc. for a one time re-commissioning of the range HVAC system. The company was the original company who designed and installed the HVAC system in the building. The Government intends to negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.103-1 “Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirement."
This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotations; however, interested parties may identify their interests and/or capabilities statement to this requirement by contacting Contracting Officer Kaitlin B. Casey via email below no later than April 3, 2026 at 11:59 PM CT. Responses sent via other means (i.e. via telephone call, facsimile transmission, etc.) will not be considered. Information received will be used solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct competitive procurement. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is at the discretion of the Government.
