The Town of Pictou is inviting qualified branding and creative professionals to submit proposals to develop a refreshed brand identity for the Hector Quay Visitor-s Marina. As part of the Town-s Waterfront Development Plan, the marina is being redeveloped into a first-class marine facility and vibrant public destination, offering expanded berths, enhanced services, and welcoming public spaces. The new brand will clearly distinguish the marina from nearby heritage attractions, reduce visitor confusion, and support tourism, transient boaters, and local community use. New name options will be explored as part of this project. The successful proponent will deliver a scalable brand strategy, naming approach, and visual identity system that can extend across future waterfront and recreation assets.
