This is a combined synopsis and solicitation for commercial items usings Simplified Acquisition Procedures. This acquisition will be made in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 12.6 “Streamlined Procedures for Evaluation and Solicitation for Commercial Items” as applicable, and as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes only solicitation. Quotes are being requested, and a written solicitation will not be issued.

The Modix 180x V4 is a large-scale 3D printer capable of printing large parts quickly and precisely. The scale of the printer enables the team to create custom made parts that can be up to 1.8m in length and 0.6m in width. The size of the print bed enables the team to keep more work in-house, which reduces costs and lead times. The speed at which this printer can operate can turn a print that would originally take several days down to a single day or mere hours. The addition of separate parts on the item list ensures that the team can operate this printer to whatever suits CBC project needs. in accordance with the requirements and specifications of the attached Statement of Work (SOW) included in this solicitation.
