The proposed contract requires the provision of approximately 98.1ha of manual brushing located across Ireland, Kwikoit, Ross, White Lake, Echo, and Banting operating areas in the Okanagan-Columbia Business Area. All work must be completed by October 31, 2026. The North Zone Field Team will be monitoring the work. For viewing purposes, the Bidder should refer to the Project Overview map. Brushing treatments will target deciduous species such as birch, cottonwood, and aspen. The brushing objective is to release conifers for free growing. Herbaceous and woody shrub species such as fireweed, thimbleberry, ocean spray, valerian, ferns, alder, rhododendron, and raspberry. The objective of herbaceous brushing is to allow for crop tree establishment and must be completed before August 15, 2026.
