Description of Requirement:



Shared Services Canada (SSC) requires a supply of replacement batteries for UPSs meeting one or more of the following characteristics:

• rack mounted single phase, 5kVA capacity or greater

• rack mounted three phase 5kVA capacity or greater

• stand alone single phase 5kVA capacity or greater

• stand alone three phase 5kVA capacity or greater

(all together referred to henceforth as “UPS Replacement Batteries” and “UPS-RB”) for federal government sites across Canada on an as-and-when requested basis for SSC itself, its exclusive Partner Organizations, Mandatory Clients, and any other Government Organization that chooses to use SSC for the procurement of its UPS-RB.



Together with the delivery of UPS Replacement Batteries, suppliers may be required to provide the installation and recycling of used UPS batteries.



This Request for Supply Arrangement (RFSA) is to invite original equipment manufactures (OEMs) of UPS batteries and OEMs- approved resellers (all together “Providers”) to prequalify their business through this solicitation.
