Description : I. BACKGROUND
Following two successful stagings of the Central Philippines Tourism Expo (CPTEx), the event continues to serve as a vital platform for showcasing the diverse and rich tourism offerings of Central Philippines, which includes Regions V (Bicol), VI (Western Visayas), VII (Central Visayas), VIII (Eastern Visayas), CALABARZON, and MIMAROPA. The fair promotes inter-regional collaboration, strengthens tourism networks, and supports sustainable tourism development in line with the National Tourism Development Plan (NTDP). This year, the 3rd staging will be hosted by DOT Region VIII in Tacloban City, Leyte, and will feature exhibitions, product presentations, and business networking activities aimed at revitalizing and expanding regional tourism markets.
As part of its participation, the DOT NCR Regional Office will mount an exhibit booth featuring the region-s priority destinations and tourism circuits.
