Tender Details

Boiler gas conversion at family center. Contractor shall replace existing fuel oil burners/associated control panels on two (2) existing steam boilers with two (2) new gas burners/control panels, replace existing boiler breeching with new double wall stainless boiler breeching, install new stainless steel single wall chimney liner within existing brick chimney, 100 LF tall, new modulating combustion air supply fan, VFD controls, field devices and all associated equipment, new burner management controls, draft controls and all associated field devices, provide temporary rental boilers to meet building steam and domestic hot water needs during boiler conversion work, demolition, restoration, brickwork, cutting/patching, rigging, hoisting, welding, controls, electrical/controls wiring/conduit, excavation, back fill, and appurtenant work and gas service piping, meter rig and gas piping to boiler room.

A pre-bid site inspection will be held at 10:00 am on Tuesday, October 20, 2015 at a meeting at Front Lobby, Coachman Family Center, 123 East Post Road, White Plains, New York. Plans: From the Empire State Purchasing Group, or if bidders is unable to utilize the electronic version of the Contract Drawings, they may obtain copies from
Owner for $100 per set. For bidders, the deposit for each set of drawings will be refunded in full if returned in good condition within thirty days after award or rejection of bids and 50% will be refunded to non-bidders. No refunds will be made to the successful bidder. See outside link.
