The Teachers- Retirement System of the State of Illinois (the System or TRS) is requesting proposals for Project Title. The objective of this Request for Proposal is to solicit competitive proposals from qualified vendors in sufficient detail to permit objective evaluation of all proposals which may result in a contract to provide Project Title to the Teachers- Retirement System.TRS trustee elections are governed by Article 16 of the Illinois Pension Code, 40 ILCS 5/16-165 . as well as TRS Administrative Rules, 80 IIl. Admin. 1650.1000-1650.1090. The election process is conducted in two phases, the petitioning phase and the balloting phase, with the balloting phase occurring only if more qualified candidates than open seats transpire following the petition phase. This engagement is anticipated to be a 5-year term with options to extend at the System-s discretion. Elections for the duration of any resulting engagement are anticipated as follows:FY2027 - Teacher Trustee Elections (three seats)FY2027 - Annuitant Trustee Election (one seat)FY2029 - Teacher Trustee Elections (two seats)FY2029 - Annuitant Trustee Election (one seat)FY2031 - Teacher Trustee Elections (three seats)FY2031 - Annuitant Trustee Election (one seat)In addition to the anticipated elections, services would be needed for any special election as required by Article 16 of the Illinois Pension Code.If you are interested in the proposed engagement, we welcome proposals from qualified firms.
