BMHKW Kaindl: Planning services for the FW network and switching storage The company Kaindl Energy GmbH is building a combined heat and power plant (CHP) at its location in Wals-Siezenheim with a fuel heat output of around 145 MW, a thermal output of around 100 MW and an electrical output of around 32 MW. A larger amount of the heat produced is to be delivered as district heating (FW) to Salzburg AG's district heating network. For this purpose, Salzburg AG, as the operator of this network, is planning a To build a heat transfer station including grid feed and switching storage at the Kaindl location with a maximum thermal transmission capacity of 55 MW.
