This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. Proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The resultant contract will be awarded using negotiated procedures in accordance with FAR 13. This is a total small business set aside in accordance with FAR 19-502-2. The principle NAICS is 238320, Painting and Wall Covering Contractors and size standard is $19M. The National Park Service, Interior Region 2, South Atlantic Gulf has a requirement to repair chinking and staining of three cabins located throughout Blue Ridge Parkway. All Quotes should include power wash, prep, logs/siding and trim, Remove all loose, cracked, or deteriorated chinking, Clean log surfaces with compressed air and vacuum debris, Replace Chinking with a compatible synthetic system (e.g., Sashco Log Jam or approved equal), Apply new log stain per manufacturers instructions, two coats minimum allowing proper curing time between coats, Clean and prepare all window and door trim surfaces, Stain window and door trim at each cabin (each cabin has 4 windows and 2 doors, total: 12 windows and 6 doors), Remove all masking, staging, and surplus materials and Restore staging areas to original condition.The solicitation number assigned to this requirement is 140P5126Q0018. The solicitation is issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ). The Government intends to award a Firm-Fixed Price Contract to the offeror that provides the best value withoutdiscussions in accordance with FAR 13.
