Title: Sources Sought Notice for Blackbody cavity calibration bath
BACKGROUND
The National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) requires a blackbody cavity calibration bath which covers -20 °C to +130 °C operating range. The purpose of this bath is to maintain and extend capabilities of IR thermometer calibrations. The bath must support dry-air purges from the rear of the cavity for reduction of frost/condensation buildup and utilize a high heat-transfer fluid for minimizing temperature gradients and uniformity.
The National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) is seeking information from sources that may be capable of providing a solution that will achieve the specifications described below:
