The City of Mississauga is committed to expanding Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion (EDI) within the organization and has been actively developing and implementing initiatives to support this goal. The City recognizes the positive impact of a diverse and inclusive workforce and is focused on attracting and recruiting diverse candidates at all levels.
When a requirement arises, the City will engage the Supplier to fulfill the vacancy based on qualifications, experience, pricing, timing, quality of service, and other criteria the City deems appropriate.
The Supplier must have expertise in recruiting candidates from equity-deserving communities, particularly BIPOC individuals, for C-suite and other executive-level roles. The Supplier must demonstrate a deep understanding of EDI principles and integrate these into their recruitment processes.
The Supplier will work closely with the City-s Human Resources representative to:
Develop and execute a strategic recruitment and sourcing plan focused on attracting diverse candidates;Identify, pre-screen, and interview highly qualified candidates aligned with the City-s EDI values;Provide detailed reporting on candidate pools, including diversity metrics and inclusive recruitment strategies;Conduct candidate assessments and reference checks per the City-s hiring policies;Ensure that all recruitment processes are equitable and barrier-free, with accommodations provided as neededThe supplier must possess:
