Description
The purpose of this acquisition is to obtain services for research biospecimen acquisition and management through the establishment of a biorepository that will serve as a Biospecimen Core Resource (BCR) central repository. The BCR will provide biospecimen and data management services through collection and distribution of biospecimens from a diverse research participant population recruited at multiple medical institutions throughout the U.S. The BCR will work closely with NCI and NCI-designated medical institutions to manage biospecimen protocols from collection kits to receipt, processing, storage, and distribution for research, per NCI protocols.
