Description
NOTE: A site visit shall be held at the Nogales International Wastewater Treatment Plant, 865 East Frontage Road, Rio Rico, Arizona, 85648 on Wednesday, May 14, 2025, at 10:00 AM MST (Arizona Time). Please submit your NDA by 4PM MDT May 12, 2025.
Potential bidders are REQUIRED to bring a 5-gallon bucket with lid and bag to collect a wet biosolids sludge sample which will be provided by IBWC staff to fulfill the requirement within the Performance Work Statement. There will not be another opportunity to collect samples from the NIWTP.
The due date for offers is changed to June 18, 2025, at 3PM MDT.

The International Boundary and Water Commission is issuing a solicitation in support of the International Boundary and Water Commission (IBWC) Nogales Field Office.
General Information: The Contractor shall provide all labor, material, equipment, tools, transportation and supplies necessary to purchase and install biosolids electro-osmosis dryer(s) and/or low temperature dryer(s) and purchase and install automated screw press(es) for the Nogales International Wastewater Treatment Plant (NIWTP). Biosolids technologies shall allow for redundancy by providing additional unit(s). The work shall include providing the IBWC with equipment specifications and requirements for the biosolids electro-osmosis dryer(s) and/or low temperature dryer(s) and automated screw press(es) for design purposes. Additionally, the work includes providing requirements for the design and construction of the enclosure and connections (i.e. plumbing, electrical, etc.).
