PURPOSE. The purpose of this solicitation is to solicit responses to contract with a vendor(s) to provide Biosafety Cabinets, Delivery, Setup, and Removal/Disposal of Old Cabinets, for a one-time project, at the MN Department of Health Public Health Lab (MDH) located at 601 Roberts St. N., St. Paul, MN 55155. MDH is looking to remove and dispose of (32) 6-foot Biosafety Cabinets (BSC) and replace them with (30) new Biosafety Cabinets comprised of (29) 6-foot and (1) 5-foot. These BSC-s are located throughout the laboratory building, (8) on first floor in (4) different lab spaces, (1) on second floor, and (23) on third floor in (16) different lab spaces (more detail on specific locations and scope for each BSC is in Section 4 of the Exhibit C, Sample Contract and Exhibits. There is a loading dock and service elevator available for delivery and movement of the BSC-s between floors. This is a Request for Proposal (RFP)/Event/Solicitation. Non-electronic and e-mail responses will not be accepted. The response must be submitted through the SWIFT Supplier Portal no later than the date and time called for in the Event.
