1. The Philippine International Trading Corporation (PITC) and the Philippine Coconut Authority (PCA) intend to apply the sum of Pesos: Two Hundred Forty Five Million Five Hundred Twenty Thousand Six Hundred Forty-Five only (=P 245, 520, 645.00) being the Approved Budget for the Contract (ABC) to payment under the contract for the Supply and Delivery of Agricultural Grade Salt Fertilizer:

Bidders may bid for one, some or all lots. Separate Bid Security for each lot being bid.
2. For Bid Security, bidders must submit a Bid Securing Declaration or Cashier-s/ Manager-s Check. The Cashier-s/ Manager-s Check must be equivalent to at least 2% of the ABC and must be issued by a Local Universal or Local Commercial Bank.
3. Bids received in excess of the ABC shall automatically be rejected at Bid opening. Late bids shall not be accepted.
4. PITC and PCA now invite Bids from duly authorized Local Suppliers, Producers, Traders, Importers and Distributors for the Supply and Delivery of Agricultural Grade Salt fertilizer (hereinafter referred to as GOODS).
5. A prospective Bidder should have completed contracts of similar nature within the last five (5) years from the date of submission and receipt of bids as follows:
(a) Single completed contract of similar nature amounting to at least twenty-five percent (25%) of the ABC; OR
(b) At least two (2) completed contracts of similar nature and the aggregate contract amounts must at least be equivalent to twenty-five percent (25%) of the ABC. The largest of these similar contracts must be at least equivalent to 12.5% of the ABC.
