Following a successful RFP during August 2017 to appoint a panel of suppliers to deliver Lean Consultancy Services, Callaghan Innovation is going to market again soon to add suppliers to the existing panel through an open competitive tender.
• At the time of the previous tender in July/August 2017, and according to independent research conducted in early 2017, it was acknowledged that the market for Lean consultancy services is evolving.
• For this reason, it was agreed that there is a need to engage with the market by opening the panel once again in a years' time to ensure it is robust and represents good market coverage.
• Additionally, at the time of the previous tender for consultancy services, some previous incumbent suppliers missed out on responding to the tender. Callaghan Innovation would like to allow these suppliers and other suppliers in the marketplace the chance to respond to this upcoming tender.
We need knowledgeable, skilled and experienced suppliers to deliver the following:
Provision of "Lean consultancy services" to businesses that decide to implement Lean practices in their business. Lean Consultants are expected to assist the business to plan, implement, and review the Lean initiative for a period of up to 12 months. Consultants will be appointed to a panel of suppliers by way of a Memorandum of Understanding, with the business deciding which consultants they will use.
