Junee Shire Council is seeking quotations (submitted via Vendorpanel) from suitably qualified consultants with experience in modelling and analysis to develop a detailed Flood Study for Bethungra and Wantabadgery.This project involves conducting a flood study, which is a comprehensive technical investigation of flood behaviour that provides the main technical foundation for the development of a robust flood risk management plan.The objectives include assessing property flood risk, quantifying potential damage, and providing technical insights for the Council to prepare the Bethungra and Wantabadgery Flood Study. Additionally, the study seeks to develop a modelling system suitable for evaluating flood mitigation measures and future development plans within the area.Services requested are:• Lidar Survey• Digital Elevation Model• Hydrologic Modelling• Hydrologic Modelling• Flood Damages model and assessment • Progress ReportsThe successful Consultant will have extensive experience delivering similar studies and projects, cultural awareness, and knowledge of systems and procedures to lead the implementation of best practices in work methods and processes to comply with quality assurance standards.
