The works comprise of the following:- Earthworks - includes removal of peat, glazier till and fractured rock.- Peat Storage - all removed peat is to be stored in bespoke constructed bays for reuse during closed cell restoration.- Unsaturated Zone - place free draining infill material to form cell base above groundwater level.- Perimeter Bunds - place free draining infill material to form cell perimeter bunds.- Mineral Barrier - place Bentonite Enriched Soil (BES) on cell base.- Basal Liner - place High Density Polyethylene (HDPE) liner on cell base.- Leachate Drainage - place clean aggregate as a drainage blanket on basal liner.- Leachate Collection - place collection chambers and transfer pipework.- Mechanical & Electrical - place electrical cable ducts, pumps, controls and lighting
