Ghent University wishes to conduct a benchmark study for the job families: • Independent Academic Staff (ZAP) • Assistant Academic Staff (AAP) • Scientific Staff (WP) • Administrative and Technical Staff (ATP) The study aims to assess the competitiveness of Ghent University as an employer and to gain insight into the position of Ghent University in relation to relevant Belgian labor markets. The assignment includes a benchmark of the total remuneration package, including: at least: • remuneration; • fringe benefits; • pension; • job security; • other relevant employment conditions. Expected output The contractor provides at least: • a benchmark report for the ZAP, AAP, WP and ATP job families; • a description of the benchmark methodology used; • a description of the job evaluation, job mapping or similar methodology used; • an analysis of the position of Ghent University compared to the chosen reference markets; • an analysis of remuneration, pension, job security and other relevant employment conditions; • an impact analysis of the federal pension reform on the position of Ghent University in relation to the labor market; • a presentation of the results; • the underlying databases and reporting in editable format.
