Description : North East Water Is Intending To Upgrade The Water Treatment Plant At Bellbridge, Victoria Including The Replacement Of The Electrical Switchboard And Chemical Dosing Systems.The Works That Form Part Of This Tender, Include:Design And Construct A New Treatment Plantdesign And Construct A Backwash Systemdesign And Construct Chemical Dosing Systemsdesign And Construct A New Electrical Switchboard And Control Systemdesign And Construct Extension Of Existing Buildingdesign And Landscape Site Including New Perimeter Fencethese Works Need To Be Completed While Maintaining Water Services To The Town Of Bellbridge And Within The Drinking Water Quality Guidelines.North East Water Is Now Inviting Interested Parties To Tender For The Design And Construction Of This Scope Of Works As Detailed In The Preliminary Drawings And Specification Provided. A Preliminary Design Will Be Issued As Part Of An Rft To The Open Market Seeking To Engage A Principal Contractor Under A Design And Construct Contract To Deliver This Project.North East Water Requires A Principal Contractor That Must Have A Supplier Management System That Is Fully Certified By A Certifying Body Against One Of The Standards / Assurance Systems Listed By Both The Department Of Treasury & Finance (Dtf) And Worksafe. For Contracts Of Less Than $500K The Tenderer Must Be Able To Demonstrate Compliance With Dtf`S 12 Point Evaluation Criteria. The Victorian Government And Public Bodies Such As North East Water May Use The Construction Contractors Register To Create Shortlists Of Contractors To Invite To Submit Tenders For Public Construction And Construction Related Services.
