Summary Details:
Feed BC, a provincial government initiative led by the Ministry of Agriculture and Food, works to encourage and support a shift to more B.C. foods in B.C. public institutions (healthcare, post-secondaries, etc). Many of B.C.'s post-secondaries, health facilities, and other public institutions are working to bring more locally sourced food to their facilities to meet patient/client demands, achieve institutional objectives, and invest in B.C. communities.
This contract will support B.C. institutions to source more B.C. products by facilitating the development of 2-3 strategic, demand-driven B.C. institutional foodservice food and beverage value chains. Consultants with experience establishing new food and beverage value chains in collaboration with complex supply chain partners, robust food and beverage technical knowledge, and business relationships with the foodservice industry are encouraged to apply.
