Toronto Port Auhtority and AECOM is seeking an experienced, and qulified marine contractor to rehabilitate the BBTCA Isaland East Dock Wall within plans and specifications share herewith. Work involves encapsulation of the East Wall in steel sheet piles from the northeast corner of the island to the seaplane ramp. The sheet pile wall will be cored into bedrock below the lakebedand tied to anchor blocks installed under the apron on the east side of the airport. Where Hanger 1 prevents installation of anchor blocks, rock anchors will be drilled to anchor the sheetpiles. Work includes restoration and must be staged to minimize construction encroachment on the taxiway.
