Description

The purpose of this notice is to inform interested parties that Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division (NAWCAD) Lakehurst, NJ intends to negotiate on a sole source basis a Basic Ordering Agreement (BOA) with CPI International, Inc. for the contract requirement for the procurement of the supplies and services associated with engineering and technical services to tear down, evaluate, repair, restore, and modify the PALS Radio Frequency (RF) components. It-s anticipated that this will be a Firm Fixed-Price and a cost type contract.



CPI International, Inc. is the Original Equipment Manufacturer of PALS RF components for ATC&LS. CPI International, Inc. is the only company that maintains the data rights, technical expertise, and production level data necessary to support tearing down, evaluating, repairing, restoring, and modifying these components. CPI International, Inc. is the only manufacturer that provides a solution that meets requirements and ensures interoperability with the existing systems.



THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS. The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate under the authority of 10 USC 3204(a)(1), FAR 6.302-1, Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based upon the response to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Responses must be received by the response date and time of this notice. Responses by phone or fax will not be accepted. The Government will not pay for any information received.
