Basic improvement of the Leijona block, cost calculation service The object of the procurement is the cost calculation service for the basic improvement of the Leijona block, which will be implemented in the estimated period of 2026 - 2031. The tasks of cost accounting include project planning and preparation of the calculations needed during construction on target costs and contract price forecasts with breakdowns. The buildings located in the Leijona quarter are Helsinki City Hall, address Pohjoisesplanadi 11-13, and Bock's house and Burtz-Hellenius house, address Aleksanterinkatu 20-24. Helsinki City Hall was originally completed as a hotel (Seurahuone) in 1833. In the 19th century, the building went through several changes as the demands of the operation increased. The town hall was modernized and was repaired according to the plans of Architect Aarno Ruusuvuore between 1965 and 1970, so that all internal structures and parts were rebuilt in concrete. Only the facades and the ballroom still date from the 19th century. The town hall was expanded in the years 1985-1988 in the inner courtyard with the council building designed by Aarno Ruusuvuori. Since then, the town hall has undergone several technical improvements and functional changes in the 1990s and 2000s. Bock's house was built in 1763, on Katariinakatu the side wing in the 1760s and the west wing in 1819. Bock's house was raised in 1819 and 1933.
