In addition, part of plot 3 will be connected to plot 1 and a new extension will be built on this part (demolished from plot 3 old building already before).The old school building was completed in three stages (ABC parts) between 1957 and 1963 and it consists of three building wings. The original part was designed by Aarne Ervi. The building was expanded (Part D) in 1986. The expansion is designed by Ulla Markel. The Helsinki Rudolf Steiner School has been operating in the premises since 2022. In addition, they have activities in Paraistentie 3. The functions at Lehtikuusentie 4 will be transferred to the City of Helsinki for the duration of the project The property is marked in the site plan with the YO code, which means it forms a block area of buildings serving teaching activities.
