The Informal Sector Enterprise Surveys are produced by the Enterprise Analysis Unit to measure the characteristics and activities of unregistered businesses. The surveys use tailored questionnaires and a geographically based sampling strategy, Adaptive Cluster Sampling, which discovers these businesses while also obtaining representative samples. The first part of the project involves the completion of a baseline framework for Yemen with the coordination of Central Statistics Office (CSO), while the second focuses on the implementation of an Informal Sector Enterprise Survey in the Governorate of Aden.
