Description Information : Work To Be Done: The work to be done shall consist of furnishing all labor, miscellaneous materials and equipment necessary to construct the project titled, Bar Screen & Grit Removal Equipment Replacement for the C.A. Newcomer Waste Water Treatment Plant, as shown on the construction drawings. In general, construction consists of replacing the bar screen system and the grit removal system originally installed in 1984 with no civil modifications. The equipment has been pre-purchased and delivered to the site. Additionally, the contractor will obtain safe access to the end wall of the grit chamber for a visual inspection and concrete material testing (as needed). The contractor is to obtain a concrete testing professional to analyze the concrete to determine how much concrete has to be removed in the end wall.
