The assignment concerns the purchase of banking services for the municipality of Umea and its group with associated companies.
The existing banking agreement expires on 2024-04-30. The agreement includes flow-related cash management services, group account system with overdraft and payroll brokerage.
However, the procurement does not include agreements onloans (excluding the overdraft) or derivatives. For 2022, the Umea municipal group reported a result of SEK 1, 177 million. The number of annual workers in 2022 was 13, 800. The business's revenue amounted to SEK 5.4 billion and tax revenue and equalization/government subsidies to a further SEK 8.6 billion. The net investments amounted to drraised SEK 2.3 billion with a self-financing rate of around 100%. The total balance sheet total was SEK 27.3 billion. The agreement is expected to apply for the period 2024-05-01 to 2027-04-30 with the possibility of a three-year extension.
