The Sanford Airport Authority invites firms meeting the minimum qualifications outlined in the solicitation documents, to submit bids for Baggage Handling System (BHS), which includes Baggage Carousels (Claim Devices) and Make-Up Units (MU) equipment, Preventive Maintenance Services, Repairs, and Inspections, at Orlando Sanford International Airport (SFB). This project supports the Authority-s ongoing commitment to enhancing airport infrastructure and operations.The purpose of this solicitation is to select a Contractor holding State of Florida licenses, at time of submitting a bid, as both a Certified Mechanical Contractor (CMC) and a Certified Electrical Contractor (EC) with a minimum of five (5) years of recent, consecutive experience performing inspections, preventive maintenance, and repairs on systems comparable to those used in airport Baggage Handling Systems (BHS). The Contractor shall have an office within fifty (50) miles of the Orlando Sanford International Airport (SFB) at time of bid submission.Firms submitting a Bid in response to this Solicitation (singularly, a Respondent; collectively, Respondents) must meet the minimum qualification requirements specified in the Respondent Questionnaire, available on the Authority-s e-Procurement Portal hosted by OpenGov at https://secure.procurenow.com/portal/flysfb.The resulting contract will have an initial term of three (3) years, with the option for two (2) additional one (1) year renewals, subject to written agreement by all parties. The contract shall include all labor, equipment, licensing, materials (including oil and grease), tools, travel, and any other items necessary to complete the work outlined in the solicitation, as needed to fulfill the requirements of the contract.Non-Mandatory Pre-Solicitation Conference: The Non-Mandatory Pre-Solicitation Conference may be attended in-person at the location specified in the Timeline. The Optional Site Tour will occur right after the pre-bid meeting.
