This Request for Proposals (the “RFP”) is an invitation by the Saskatchewan Power Corporation (“SaskPower”) to prospective proponents to submit proposals for the provision of the B1K 230kV Line Maintenance, as further described in the RFP Particulars (Appendix A) (the “ Work”).SaskPower is a Saskatchewan Crown Corporation continued under The Power Corporation Act (Saskatchewan). It is principally responsible for the generation, transmission and distribution of electricity for most of Saskatchewan.This maintenance project is required to maintain acceptable reliability on the B1K 230kV transmission line which runs between the Boundary Dam and Kennedy switching stations. The primary scope of work for this job specification includes replacing ninety-six (96) structures with new D17/001 with T07/116 arms/braces tangent structures, replacing one (1) structure with a new D21/001 with T07/116 arms/braces tangent structure, replacing one (1) structure with a new D17/004 transposition structure, and completing various maintenance activities on seventeen (17) existing structures.
