REASON FOR RE-SOLICITATION:
The Government is re-soliciting this requirement to transition from a restrictive hardware specification to allow flexibility. This re-solicitation provides contractors the opportunity to propose their best commercial solutions and allows the Government to evaluate quotes using a "Best Value Tradeoff" methodology to secure the most effective and reliable cooling solution for the facility.
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial products and commercial services prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number is W50S8A26QA010 and is issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ). The associated North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 333415 (Air-Conditioning and Warm Air Heating Equipment and Commercial and Industrial Refrigeration Equipment Manufacturing).
