UPDATE 29 MAY 2025:
1. The Government has included a copy of the Draft SOW for this effort in this posting. If your company is interested in reviewing the document, please request access via email to the Contracting Officer, Ms. Ashley A. Brink at Ashley.Brink@us.af.mil and the Contract Specialist, Ms. Kaysi Simmons at Kaysi.Simmons@us.af.mil. Additionally, please provide a copy of your company's current DD 2345 Military Critical Technical Data Agreement.
The Government will allow industry to ask questions to the Contracting Officer and Contract Specialist, via email, regarding the draft SOW. Questions must be submitted by 1400 CDT on 20 Jun 2025.
2. Information captured within the SSS has been updated and/or removed. Please see the SSS attachment dated 29 May 2025. REVISED SSS RESPONSES ARE NOT REQUIRED AT THIS TIME, UNLESS THESE CHANGES EFFECT YOUR COMPANY'S ABILITY TO PARTICIPATE IN COMPETITION. THIS UPDATE IS FOR INFORMATIONAL PURPOSES ONLY.
UPDATE 25 MAR 2025: The following questions have been asked:
Does the USAF have a compatible engine test cell to perform an engine run? Additionally, is the engine test cell equipped with the test equipment to perform functional testing of the accessories? If so, will the supplier be able to use it to perform the additional testing?Government's Answer: The USAF is evaluating the CERP engine test cell strategy. Vendors need to assess both engine test cell options, vendor and USAF.
UPDATE 12 MAR 2025: The following question has been asked: Will the Kit supplier be responsible for providing the Rolls Royce engine, as part of the install kit?
Government's Answer: The kit supplier will be responsible for delivering the kit contents as listed in the SSS, completing the engine build up (production engine will be provided as GFP), accomplish post engine build-up testing to produce a “ready for install” engine and then provide the RFI engine to the customer.
