The Mississippi Department of Health (MSDH) is seeking to procure Azure cloud services and related support to transition in scope Windows devices from on-premises Active Directory and hybrid Entra ID Configurations to a cloud only Entra ID joined environment. Devices will be managed through Microsoft Intune to establish a fully cloud managed endpoint environment. This initiative aims to eliminate legacy Active Directory dependencies, strengthen security through modern authentication and Conditional Access, and implement standardized device configuration baselines. The project supports MSDHs boarder transition to Microsoft 365 cloud services while ensuring compliance with state and federal security requirements. Azure subscription services, security configurations, and any required supporting tools or services must ensure that all MSDH data remains secure, properly governed and compliant throughout the transition and ongoing operations.
