The City is looking to extend licensing and support for their Avtek Radio Consoles used by GP911 and Public Safety Communication Center (PSCC). Changing providers would cause technical complication and duplication of costs as the City navigates an expansion to the new PSCC dispatch center. This one year extension will allow the time required to prepare business cases for the system expansion RFP forthcoming.

For additional deliveries by the original supplier of goods or services that were not included in the initialprocurement, if a change of supplier for such additional goods or services cannot be made for economicor technical reasons such as requirements of interchangeability or interoperability with existing equipment, software, services, or installations procured under the initial procurement, and would cause significantinconvenience or substantial duplication of costs for the procuring entity.
