Tender Details
The current fuel farm (Avgas 100LL) has reached its end of life and needs to be replaced with a modern above-ground fueling system that meets current CSA B836:22 National Standard of Canada: Storage, handling, and dispensing of aviation fuel at aerodromes. The successful Proponent will also be required to provide staff training on the system complete with five (5) years of software and hardware support (a separate line item for this requirement should be included within the Proponent-s cost proposal).
The current fuel farm consists of two (2) underground fiberglass tanks, which each have a 22, 700-litre capacity. Theses tanks are cross fed and there is one (1) fuel cabinet for 100LL. The total area of the fuel farm is roughly 333m2. There is the potential that the two (2) existing cement pads can be used for the fuel cabinet and the Point of Sale (POS) however upon removal of the existing fuel tanks it may be necessary to remove the cement pads. It will be up to the Proponent to consider this within their bid.
