As part of the French polar strategy, a derivative French polar station, called "Tara Polar Station", will be deployed in the central Arctic Ocean in the summer of 2026 in order to enrich the influence of marine scientific research of the Tara Polar Station, the Foundation wishes to increase Its technological means by acquiring underwater drones, their navigation and recovery system and associated services.

Supply of scientific submarine drones, launch / recovery system and associated services.
The framework agreement has For the purpose of the acquisition of sousmarine drones (the "AUVS"), an AUVS launch and recovery system (the "Lars system") as well as the associated services, meeting technical specifications, such as detailed in the specific technical clauses (the "CCTP ").
The goods subject to the framework agreement do not correspond to "shelf" solutions and imply developments or adaptations allowing to reach said technical specifications. Indeed, the needs of the foundation relate to the acquisition of drones capable of carrying out of the Scientific missions under very constrained environmental conditions (cf. CCTP).
