Audiobook reader and recording services The object of the procurement is reader and recording services for structured audiobooks for the National Archives' Accessibility Library Celia, as defined in the request for tender and its appendices. It's about digital, structured audiobook production suitable for the visually impaired and other people with reading disabilities, read by a human voice in accordance with Section 17 of the Finnish Copyright Act. These audio books are not the same product as a commercial audio book, as the books have navigation a facilitating structure that enables the book to be used, for example, by visually impaired screen readers. The structure currently uses the international Daisy 2.02 format. In addition to reader and recording studio services, the scope of the acquisition also includes Implementing the Daisy audiobook structure. During the contract period, the National Archives may also switch to another format in its structured audiobooks. In addition to structured audiobooks, the National Archives produces so-called combined books with sound, text and pictures combined. The combined book is a different product than the Daisy audiobook. The acquisition also includes reading and recording combined books, but not making the structure of the books.
