Auckland CouncilAUCKLAND COUNCIL. ExPRESSIONS OF INTEREST FOR A COMMUNITY LEASE AT 141R ROBERTSON ROAD, MANGERE EAST, AUCKLAND. Auckland Council invites expressions of interest from community groups or organisations interested in occupying a newly refurbished council-owned building at 141R Robertson Road, Mangere East, Auckland. This building is next to Mangere Centre Park, close to Mangere Town Centre, David Lange Park, and Robertson Road School. Details of the site, fees, and tenure: · Building Size: 180m² more or less · Rental cost: $1300.00 per annum plus GST · Maintenance Fee: $5, 000.00 per annum plus GST · Total cost: $6, 300.00 per annum plus GST · Term of council-owned site: Five years, plus one renewal of five years. Groups applying must be: · An incorporated society or charitable trust and meet the criteria prescribed in the Auckland Council Community Occupancy Guidelines 2012 (Updated July 2023) · Ideally, based and working in the Mangere-Otahuhu community · Able to identify positive community outcomes that will occur as a result of the proposed tenancy · Ideally, able to share the space with other community groups. Auckland Council reserves the right to seek proposals and applications from other parties in addition to those who respond to this invitation, and at its sole discretion to accept or reject any applications. Any information provided to the Council will become subject to the Local Government Official Information and Meetings Act 1987 and may be released by the Council under that Act unless a withholding ground under that Act Applies.
