The Hoofdwaarweg Lemmer - Delfzijl ("HLD"), Replacement & Renovation (V&R) project is the purpose of making the functional in order of this waterway (118 km) for CEMT Class of Ships and the entry into force of postponed major maintenance on banks and shipping facilities. As part of the project, the contract preparation and tendering of the realization contract "31137594 HLD Realization V&R Tranche 4 Oeverbescherming" is now being prepared. Within this, banks and shipping facilities are tackled that can be replaced 1 on 1 and future -proof, without having to go through planning procedures or have to deal with nitrogen problems, and can be tendered and executed relatively quickly. This amounts to tranches 4 on the following scope: • approximately 6.2 kilometers of banks, spread over 9 locations; • Three inhibition and guide works; • Three waiting locations. The intention is to set up the project as optimally as possible and the realization contract in order to be able to use the opportunities for the maximum realization of the sustainability ambitions.
