ASSIGNMENT DESCRIPTION
The overarching goal of this consultancy assignment is to collect information on the key issues relating to terrestrial ecosystems and land use management in the Pacific Island countries covered by the RPF9
The study will generate knowledge to inform decision making, policies, and investment planning for climate sensitive investments and nature-based solutions. This includes an understanding of the gaps in management and development opportunities for contributing to the World Bank Groups twin goals; ending extreme poverty and boosting shared prosperity.
The outputs of this consultancy will inform the objectives for the RPF9 and therefore assist the alignment of future World Bank engagements with national development and strategies and potentially inform their updates in the future.
