Asphalting of the municipal road at Sigridnes
Background and Objectives Amli municipality has decided to establish a fixed asphalt surface on Sigridnesveien, which will contribute to increased traffic accessibility, reduced dust problems, better driving comfort, reduced and more predictable maintenance costs over time. Description of the assignment Sigridnesveien in Amli municipality was improved and raised as a flood protection measure in 2025. The improvement was made in accordance with agricultural road class 2, with 0-22 gravel as the wear layer. The road is defined as an all-year-round high-standard road that must be able to be used with loads all year round. The road is 2450 meters long and finished width of asphalt must be 4.5 metres. The work is divided into two subcontracts. Subcontract 1 includes complete preparation and documented handover of the asphalt base. Subcontract 2 includes complete delivery, laying and inspection of asphalt pavement. Subcontract 1 - Preparatory works Inspection, planning, staking and necessary measurements. Work notification, plan and implementation of traffic management, rigging and operation. Planing/profiling with grader, watering and compaction. Clean and sweep before laying asphalt. Quality control, documentation, clearing and taking over of the asphalt contractor. Start-up 2 November. Part contract 2 - Asphalt worker Takeover inspection with main contractor.
