Purpose:
The purpose of this tender document is to solicit bids from qualified contractors to professionally and diligently, execute the asphalt paving requirements sought by the Township through this tender document. The Township is seeking an early start to the 2026 paving projects. Seasonal load restrictions on Perth East roadways will be lifted on April 30, and the Township would be pleased to accommodate project commencement beginning in May.
General Scope:
This is a municipal contract for the Township of Perth East pertaining to asphalt paving works within the North Easthope and Ellice Wards of the Township. The scope of work includes, but is not limited to, the supply and placement of HL-4 Hot-Mix Asphalt and the application of tack coat on the following road segments:
Approximately 6 km of Road 122 between Perth Line 44 and Line 36;
Approximately 4 km of Line 47 between Perth Road 107 and Lisbon;
Approximately 4 km of Road 104 between Perth Line 43 and Lisbon;
Approximately 1 km of King Street between Line 47 and the southern limit of Nithburg; and
Approximately 1 km of Road 105 between Line 47 and Perth Line 56 / Hutchison Road.
All works are to be completed in accordance with Township standards and applicable specifications.
