As part of the project, the following works are planned to be carried out: renewal of the main current tracks (left track and right track) over a length of approximately ± 2, 600 m- and renewal of 5 track switches, with modernization of the different components, including in particular the implementation of B 70 W mono-block concrete sleepers with elastic fixing of the rails, implementation of UIC60 rails and, partial replacement of the ballast made of blast furnace material by ballast made of natural stone. The main phase (period of complete blockage of the railway line) of the track renewal and switchgear works takes place from Monday 08/17/2026 until Monday 09/14/2026 (03:00). Preparatory work can begin 2 weeks before the track blocking period and the finishing works must be completed by the end of August 2026.
